Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting predominantly fine weather conditions for the region. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, indicates that weak high pressure is currently influencing the area.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather will remain mostly clear throughout the day; however, isolated showers are anticipated over the western and northern parts of Cyprus during the night. The atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of the forecast’s release is 1026 hPa, indicating stable conditions.
Visibility in the region is expected to be generally good but may decrease to moderate levels during showers. The sea surface temperature has been reported at 19°C, providing mild conditions for maritime activities. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this period, suggesting that the overall conditions are safe for navigation and other sea-related activities.
