Cyprus EU Presidency Delays Two Key Ministerial Meetings

Nicosia: The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union has announced the postponement of two significant informal ministerial meetings. The Informal Council of Ministers for European Affairs, initially slated for March 2-3, and the Informal Council of Culture, planned for March 5-6, have both been delayed.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Presidency cited regional developments affecting flight schedules to Cyprus as the primary reason for the delay, which has impeded the arrival of numerous participants. Both meetings are to be rescheduled.

The Presidency further mentioned that other meetings planned for the week will proceed online, and where postponements occur, new dates will be arranged. Announcements regarding the rescheduled dates will be made once they are confirmed.
