Cyprus-Egypt FMs discuss close cooperation, strategic partnership

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, had on Sunday a telephone conversation with his new Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, during which they discussed issues concerning the strategic partnership and the close cooperation between the two countries, the EU-Egypt relations and regional developments.

In a message on “X”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Kombos ” spoke today with his new counterpart of Egypt Badr Abdelatty, congratulating him and wishing every success in his new duties”.

It added that “discussion focused on strategic partnership and close cooperation between Cyprus and Egypt, EU-Egypt relations and regional developments”.
