Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the coastal sea area of Cyprus, covering an 8-kilometer stretch seawards, for the period from noon on April 1, 2025, to noon on April 2, 2025. The forecast highlights a weak low-pressure system affecting the region, with dust in suspension and increased concentrations expected temporarily.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather will be mainly cloudy in the afternoon, accompanied by local showers. This evening, conditions are expected to remain mainly fine, though there will be increased cloud cover and possible isolated rain in the western and northern parts of the region. Tomorrow, local showers and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated, particularly in the west, north, and east, mainly during the afternoon hours.
The visibility is expected to remain good, although it may become moderate in certain localities. The sea surface temperature is currently at 20°C. No warnings have been issued for this period.
