The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus posted a tweet condemning the Taliban’s decision to ban women from universities in Afghanistan.
“This is a regrettable step backwards for #Afghanistan & a blatant disregard for fundamental rights & freedoms”, Cyprus MFA said, adding that “we stand with all Afghans in their demand to exercise their human rights in line with Int. Law.”
