Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast anticipating mainly fine weather for the sea area of Cyprus, covering up to eight kilometers seawards. However, during the night and early morning, there will be locally increased low cloud coverage, along with mist and a risk of fog patches, particularly over the southern and eastern coasts.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast period extends from 0600 on July 15, 2025, to 0600 on July 16, 2025. The region is under the influence of seasonal low pressure, with the atmospheric pressure recorded at 1005 hPa. While visibility is generally good, it is expected to deteriorate to moderate or poor in misty conditions and become very poor in areas affected by fog.
Sea surface temperatures are reported to be 27°C, and no warnings have been issued for this period, suggesting stable weather conditions despite the anticipated nighttime visibility challenges.
