Cyprus Coastline to Experience Increased Cloud Coverage in Upcoming Days

Cyprus: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus that predicts mainly fine weather conditions, with an expectation of increased low cloud coverage in coastal regions later tonight and into tomorrow morning. This forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from midday on August 3, 2026, until midday on August 4, 2026.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast highlights that the region is experiencing a seasonal low-pressure system, recorded at 1010 hPa (hectopascal) at the time of the forecast's release. This weather pattern is expected to bring about local mist and fog patches, particularly in the southern and eastern areas of the island. Despite these developments, visibility is projected to remain good overall.

The forecast also notes that winds in the area will be measured on the Beaufort scale, although no specific wind warnings have been issued. Sea surface temperatures are currently noted to be at 28°C, and no weather warnings are currently in effect for the region.
