The forecast covers a period from 1800 on August 31, 2026, until 1800 on September 1, 2026, extending 8 kilometers seawards. The atmospheric pressure at the time of issue was noted at 1008 hPa.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather across the region is expected to be mainly fine, with some locally increased cloud coverage anticipated tomorrow evening. The visibility is reported to be good, and the sea surface temperature stands at 29°C. There are no warnings issued for this period.
For the West Coast, winds are expected to shift from West to Northwest during the night, transitioning to Northwest to Northeast, and then back to Southwest to Northwest throughout the next day. The sea state will range from Slight to Smooth.
On the South Coast, wind patterns will follow a similar shift, with conditions ranging between Smooth to Slight. In some areas, winds could reach Beaufort scale levels of 4 to 5, leading to localised Slight sea states.
The East Coast will experience winds transitioning from South to Southwest, shifting to Southwest to Northwest by morning, and later returning to South to Southwest. The sea state will remain Smooth to Slight, with occasional localised Slight conditions.
For the North Coast, the forecast predicts a shift in winds from South to Southwest to a Southeast to Southwest flow, moving to Southwest to Northwest by the afternoon. The sea state is expected to be Slight, gradually becoming Smooth to Slight throughout the day.
