Larnaca: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a sea area forecast indicating that a seasonal low pressure system is influencing the region. This forecast, which covers an 8-kilometer stretch seawards, is valid from noon on July 17, 2025, until noon on July 18, 2025. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issue is reported to be 1008 hPa.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the local weather conditions are expected to include increased cloud coverage at various times, with the presence of mist and fog patches during the night and early dawn. These conditions are expected to result in moderate to poor visibility in misty conditions, and very poor visibility when fog is present.
The sea surface temperature is recorded at 27°C. Despite these changes in weather conditions, there are currently no warnings issued for the area. Residents and visitors in the region are advised to remain updated on weather conditions as the low pressure system continues to influence the local environment.
