Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding the island, indicating that weak low pressure will affect the region. This weather pattern is expected to bring locally increased cloud coverage, with isolated showers anticipated from the afternoon onward.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers a sea area extending 8 kilometers seawards and includes predictions for wind conditions measured on the Beaufort scale. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1017 hPa, and the sea surface temperature is currently at 21°C. Despite the anticipated showers, visibility is expected to remain good, becoming moderate during periods of rain. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for the area during this forecast period.
