Muscat: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of health has been signed by the Ministers of Health of Cyprus and Oman. Minister of Health, Michalis Damianos, paid a two-day official visit to Oman at the invitation of his counterpart, Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Alsabti.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Damianos and the Minister of Health of Oman signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries in the areas of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical science, and health innovation. The Memorandum provides for the exchange of knowledge, experts, scientific material, and information, as well as the promotion of cooperation between health institutions of the two countries.
The press release noted that during his visit to Oman, Damianos visited hospitals and the Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre.
