Cyprus and Kazakhstan Officials Engage in Talks on Bilateral Relations and Regional Issues

Astana: Cyprus question, regional and international issues, as well as bilateral relations were discussed on Monday during a meeting between the Permanent Secretary of the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Andreas Kakouris, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Roman Vassilenko, in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus shared a post on the “X” platform, highlighting that there were “productive political consultations between Cyprus Permanent Secretary Ambassador Andreas Kakouris and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Roman Vassilenko today in Astana.”

The discussions between the two officials included an exchange of views on “strengthening and advancing bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation,” as stated in the post. Additionally, the agenda covered the Cyprus question and other regional and international issues.
