Cyprus and Brazil Discuss Exchange Agreement on Classified Information

Nicosia: The Republic of Cyprus is considering a Mutual Protection and Exchange Agreement on classified information with the Federal Republic of Brazil.

According to Cyprus News Agency, a press release issued by Cyprus’ Ministry of Defence revealed that last week, a delegation from Brazil visited the Ministry. The meetings held aimed at negotiating an agreement for the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.

The agreement, it is noted, “will lay the foundation for the development of bilateral cooperation both at the institutional and commercial levels, including issues related to defence and security”.
