Accra:Efforts to strengthen bilateral security cooperation between Cyprus and Bahrain were the main focus of discussions between Cyprus' National Security Adviser, Tasos Tzionis, and Bahrain's Deputy National Security Adviser, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa. The meeting took place during Shaikh Khalid's working visit to Cyprus.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the meeting was held at the offices of the National Security Council on October 14. Discussions centered on deepening cooperation between the National Security Councils of both countries, with a strong emphasis on implementing proposals to enhance security sector collaboration.

The officials also exchanged views on regional security issues, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation as part of a long-term strategic partnership.
