Cyprus Aims to Become Regional Technology Hub, Says Skourides.

NICOSIA: Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Cyprus, Demetris Skourides, has emphasized that the National Strategic Goal is to transform Cyprus into a regional technology hub. Skourides made this statement during a recent visit to the facilities of Dynamic Works, a part of his continuous efforts to boost productivity and innovation, ensuring that grants have a maximum impact and fostering stronger relationships with key partners.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Dynamic Works is among the eight companies that were awarded grants through the Research and Innovation Foundation’s Disrupt program. The program aims to develop innovative solutions in software development technologies specifically for the financial sector. During the meeting, Skourides elaborated on the National Strategic Goal to position Cyprus as a regional technology hub and underscored the potential provided by the Disrupt program to enable the company to act as a digital ‘ambassador’ of Cypriot innovation
on an international level.
