The Cypriot mission, which went to Greece to aid in firefighting operations, will operate in “Treis Vryses ” area, near the Community of Soufli, in Evros.
As fire Service’s Spokesman Andreas Kettis, posted on his account on “X” (former twitter) the Cypriot mission arrived in Alexandroupoli and is headed to the area of “Treis Vryses,” near the community of Soufli, in Evros. There, they will join with Greek Firefighting Forces and operate on a “large and hazardous active front.”
He further notes that the Consul General of Cyprus in Thessaloniki, following communication with the Ministry of Justice and Public Order, is in direct contact with the Cypriot mission to provide all necessary support.
