Abu dhabi: The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Energy, and Agriculture, along with the Deputy Minister for Research from the Republic of Cyprus, are set to visit Abu Dhabi on Friday. This visit is part of ongoing efforts to deepen and strengthen the bilateral relations between Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to Cyprus News Agency, Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos announced after a Cabinet meeting on Thursday that the delegation's visit follows the recent visit of the President of the UAE to Nicosia. The aim is to engage in a series of discussions with their Emirati counterparts, focusing on issues derived from the strategic nature of the relationship and the action plan discussed in Nicosia.
The discussions will cover topics related to the energy sector and water scarcity. Kombos emphasized the continuation of efforts to deepen this strategic relationship, which has already shown tangible results.
