Cypriot Defence Minister Engages in Key Security Dialogues at Munich Conference

Munich: Defence Minister Vasilis Palmas participated in the Munich Security Conference on February 14-15, engaging in discussions on geopolitical challenges, hybrid threats, and European security. On the sidelines of the conference, he held bilateral meetings with his counterparts.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Palmas took part in thematic discussions addressing issues such as crisis management, hybrid threats, and the formulation of strategic security policies for Europe and its neighbouring regions.

During his separate meetings with foreign defence officials, the Minister discussed international and regional security matters, as well as potential ways to deepen existing collaborations or establish new partnerships with the Republic of Cyprus.
