Cyprus’ Ministers, who accompany President, Nicos Anastasiades, during his visit to Dubai had bilateral meetings on Wednesday with their Emirati counterparts, with a view to further deepen the relations between the two countries in a broad spectrum of fields.
The two sides discussed concrete actions to promote cooperation between the two countries and the implementation of activities that have already been agreed, seeking also more opportunities for collaboration.
In statements to the media, Defence Minister, Charalambos Petrides, said that they discussed with his UAE counterpart, among other issues, developments related to Ukraine and the next moves concerning the stability of the broader region and the Eastern Mediterranean.
