Additionally, astronauts and numerous distinguished guests from Cyprus and across the globe, including ambassadors from countries such as France, Germany, Japan, India, Israel, Poland, and Hungary, are also present.

CSEO President George Danos highlighted the significance of this gathering, describing it as the most important space research conference worldwide for 2025. He emphasized that this landmark event positions Cyprus at the epicenter of the global space community.

This year’s symposium, themed ‘Space Exploration 2025: A Symposium on Humanity’s Challenges and Celestial Solutions’, will address critical global challenges like climate change, resource depletion, and space weather. It also aims to explore how space exploration and technology can provide solutions to these pressing issues.

The conference will cover various topics related to ongoing and planned space programs, encouraging discussions on international collaboration, responsible space endeavors, and the involvement of emerging nations in space exploration. The event is expected to attract a diverse audience, including representatives from both space-related and non-space companies, space agencies, international organizations, researchers, and the general public.
