The price index of construction materials shows a stabilizing trend, since in July it recorded an increase of just 0.38% compared to July 2022, while it recorded a decrease of 0.19% compared to the previous month. According to data published by the Statistical Service on Friday, the biggest changes are recorded in minerals and metallic products, with the former increasing and the latter decreasing.
The Price Index of Construction Materials for July 2023 reached 135.02 units (base year 2015=100), recording a decrease of 0.19% compared to the previous month. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index recorded an increase of 0.38%.
By main commodity category, a 14.69% increase was recorded in minerals, mineral products went up 6.53%, products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics by 2.40% and electromechanical products by 1.16%. ? 9.53% decrease was recorded in metallic products.
