Nicosia: The establishment of the ad hoc working party on the accession treaty for Montenegro marks a key step forward in the enlargement process, President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides stressed on Wednesday. According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides highlighted that this development sends a strong signal of momentum in EU enlargement. He noted that it is a key priority of the Cyprus Presidency and an integral part of their overall objective for an Autonomous Union that is open to the world. The President reaffirmed the dedication to assisting Montenegro in its efforts to join the European Union, marking it as a significant advancement in the enlargement agenda.
