Cold Air Mass Brings Cloudy Weather and Showers to Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that a cold air mass is currently affecting the region. The forecast, which covers an area 8 kilometers seawards, predicts partly cloudy weather with isolated showers and a risk of thunderstorms, particularly along the west and south coasts, As the night progresses, the weather is expected to become mainly fine, although periods of increased cloud cover are anticipated.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1017 hPa. Visibility is generally good, but it may reduce to moderate or poor conditions during showers. The sea surface temperature is reported at 17°C. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this period.
