Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its latest forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting cloudy weather conditions over the next 24 hours. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and indicates a weak low-pressure system influencing the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather is expected to be mainly cloudy, featuring medium and high cloud coverage with a possibility of isolated light showers and thunderstorms. Despite these conditions, visibility in the area remains good. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1016 hPa. The sea surface temperature is currently noted to be 19°C.
No warnings have been issued for the sea area during this period, suggesting that the expected weather conditions do not pose significant risks to marine activities. The Cyprus Department of Meteorology continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
