Cancellations and Diversions at Cypriot Airports Due to Situation in the Middle East

Larnaca: Flights to and from Cyprus airports are being cancelled following the US and Israeli operations against Iran.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Hermes Airports, so far, 250 passengers have been affected by the cancellations.

All flights to and from Israel have been cancelled at Larnaca Airport, while regarding Paphos Airport, Air Haifa flights and Ryanair flights to Amman have been cancelled. In the morning, a Wizz Air flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv departed at 7:35 but then returned to Cyprus.

At Larnaca Airport, the Wizz Air flight from Tel Aviv at 13:20 was cancelled. Two departures were also cancelled, one of Wizz Air to Abu Dhabi, which was scheduled for 14:25, and one of SunDor, which was scheduled for 20:55. Tomorrow's arrival of the Tus Air flight from Israel at 19:05 was also cancelled, as well as the departure of the Tus Air flight to Israel, which was scheduled for 12:00 noon.

At Paphos Airport, the Air Haifa flight from Haifa, which was scheduled for today at 16:00, was cancelled. In addition, the Air Haifa flight, which was also scheduled for today at 16:55, was also cancelled.

Meanwhile, two Wizz Air flights have been diverted so far, Budapest-Amman and Sofia-Tel Aviv. Passengers disembarked at Larnaca Airport where they are expected to depart to return to Budapest and Sofia.
