Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, covering up to 8 kilometers seawards, predicting predominantly fine weather conditions for the region from 1800 on July 23, 2025, until 1800 on July 24, 2025. The prevailing atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was noted to be 1002 hectopascals, indicative of seasonal low pressure and a warm air mass influencing the area.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast details that the weather will be mainly fine throughout the period, although there will be instances of locally increased low cloud during the night and early morning hours. This may lead to a risk of local mist or fog patches, particularly over the southeastern areas of Cyprus.
The visibility in the area is expected to be generally good, but it may become moderate to poor in areas affected by mist and very poor where fog develops. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 27°C, providing a warm environment for maritime activities. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this period, indicating stable and calm sea conditions.
