TAMPA, FL / ACCESSWIRE / January 24, 2024 / An exciting event is coming to Tampa Bay that will put a spotlight on the unique challenges faced by women in business. On March 2, the inaugural Building a Boss Summit will take place in Tampa, Florida, at the Embarc Collective from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., centered around the theme of Reinvention. This empowering all-day event is exclusively designed to elevate businesses, expand networks and emphasize the pivotal role of mentorship in fostering success.
This summit is founded by two women-owned brands – Boss Talks, a global mentorship platform for women entrepreneurs, and LEO + LAINE, a branding and digital marketing agency serving women entrepreneurs.
"At Building a Boss Summit, we believe that mentorship is the cornerstone of success for women in business," says Hillary Gadsby, founder and CEO of Boss Talks. "This event is more than a gathering; it’s a celebration of resilience, collaboration, and the power of women supporting women."
Attendees will experience an exciting lineup of three inspiring keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, and insightful panel discussions that delve into key aspects of entrepreneurship, marketing and branding, community building, business essentials, and collaboration.
Former Say Yes to the Dress star and entrepreneur Cheval will be the fireside keynote speaker. Formerly one of the most sought-after luxury bridal designers in the world, Cheval is the co-founder of the women’s specialty shoe brand under She Is Cheval. Proceeds from the summit will go towards Cheval’s nonprofit A Girl You Might Know Foundation, which provide resources that better protect the interests of young women and creatives during the formative years of their careers and small business funding.
"As the founder of a foundation that advocates for young creators and entrepreneurs, I believe in contributing to networks that foster collaboration and spilling all the secrets of the entrepreneurial trade," says Cheval. "I look forward to being the keynote speaker at The Building a Boss Summit and hope to provide tangible takeaways with respect to reinventing one’s brand, building boundaries, and continually reinvesting one’s unique skill set. I believe a rising tide lifts all ships, and that this summit will propel each of us to greater heights in our entrepreneurial endeavors."
The summit will also feature a marketplace of Florida-based women-owned brands open to the general public in partnership with Fayven.
