Nicosia: The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, held discussions with Cyprus’ National Security Advisor, Tasos Tzionis, focusing on security issues, including the Cyprus issue and geopolitical developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Caucasus, and the wider region. The meeting took place during Grigoryan’s working visit to Cyprus.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Grigoryan provided updates on the implementation of the recent agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, following the second Nagorno-Karabakh war. The discussions also addressed post-conflict issues such as investigating the fate of missing persons and the restoration and protection of cultural heritage.
Tzionis and Grigoryan reaffirmed the longstanding ties of friendship between Armenia and Cyprus. They agreed to enhance cooperation between their respective institutions, underscoring the commitment to strengthen bilateral relations.
