Agriculture Minister to take part in EU Council in Luxembourg

Agriculture Minister Costas Kadis departs for Luxembourg to take part in the EU Agriculture Ministers Council that will be held on Thursday.

EU agriculture ministers will discuss the recent Commission communication on safeguarding food security and reinforcing the resilience of food systems, which sets out a number of measures aimed at addressing the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on food security, both in the EU and worldwide.

They will also hold an exchange of views on the market situation for agri-food products and the situation of the EU’s agricultural sector, with a particular focus on the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
