President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades met on Sunday with European Commissioner for Transport, Adina Valean and Kitak Lim, Secretary-General of the international Maritime Organisation.
The President attended a reception hosted ahead of Maritime Cyprus 2022 which starts on Monday.
During the reception, President Ansatasiades presented Christos Mavrelis with the Personality of Cyprus Shipping award.
On the sidelines of the opening reception, President Anastasiades met with EU commissioner Valean and IMO SG Kitak Lim, an official press release said.
