Nicosia: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expresses his gratitude to President Nikos Christodoulides for Cyprus' support to Kiev. In a post on X on Tuesday evening, Zelenskyy thanks the Cyprus President for his kind congratulatory message on the occasion of Ukraine's 35th Anniversary of Independence.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Zelenskyy highlighted the significance of Cyprus' role during its Presidency of the Council of the European Union when Ukraine initiated its first negotiating cluster with the EU. He emphasized the importance of opening all remaining clusters and expressed confidence in Cyprus's continued support for Ukraine's EU integration. Zelenskyy also mentioned the appreciation for other forms of support from Cyprus and expressed hope for increased cooperation in various areas.
