Nicosia:The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning indicating the potential for isolated severe thunderstorms, which will be in effect from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the thunderstorms are anticipated to impact several areas, particularly the mountainous regions, the interior, and parts of the northwest of the island.

In addition to the thunderstorms, the warning also includes the possibility of hail. Winds are expected to change direction and gain strength during this period.

Rainfall intensity in the affected areas is expected to exceed 35 millimeters per hour, highlighting the severity of the weather conditions.
