The Department of Meteorology has issued a new yellow warning for high temperatures for Wednesday, as the temperature is expected to rise to 41 degrees Celsius inland and to 33 degrees in higher mountains. The warning is valid from 11:00 until 17:00 on Wednesday afternoon. Also, today at 15:00, the following maximum temperatures and humidity were recorded: Nicosia 41 Celsius (28%), Larnaca Airport 38 Celsius (33%), Limassol 33 Celsius (65%), Paphos Airport 33 Celsius (71%), Frenaros 36 Celsius (41%), Prodromos 34 Celsius (39%) and Polis Chrysochous 40 Celsius (29%).
