Nicosia: A new yellow warning for a combination of rain and isolated thunderstorms is in effect for Tuesday. The warning has been issued from 5am Tuesday and will remain in place until 5am Wednesday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology cautions that hail is likely to occur during the storms, and surface wind is expected to be variable and strengthening. Rainfall is anticipated to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour, with total precipitation potentially exceeding 55 millimeters in some areas within the 24-hour period.
