Nicosia: The weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus in the first six months of the year showed an annual increase of 5.0%.
According to Cyprus News Agency, during the period January-June 2025, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 0.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2024, while the weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus also increased by 5.0%.
In a press release regarding the latest figures for road freight transport for the second quarter of 2025, the Statistical Service says that during the period April-June 2025, the total weight of goods transported by road in Cyprus increased by 0.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2024. The weight of freight transported from and to Cyprus also increased by 3.6%.
