Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that weak low pressure, along with frontal activity, is expected to impact the sea area of Cyprus. This forecast covers the period from 1800 on November 24, 2025, until 1800 on November 25, 2025, extending to an area 8 kilometers seawards.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast suggests that local showers and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated to occur tonight and tomorrow morning, beginning over the western and northern regions, gradually spreading to the southern and eastern parts. By tomorrow evening, isolated showers and a risk of thunderstorms are expected to primarily affect the southern, eastern, and northern regions. Additionally, dust is predicted to remain in suspension until tomorrow morning, with a risk of fog patches over the east.
The visibility in the area is expected to be generally good but may become moderate to poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is forecasted to be 23°C. No specific warnings have been issued by the meteorological department.
