Baku:The Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area around Cyprus, indicating that low atmospheric pressure is affecting the region. This condition is expected to bring increased cloud coverage, isolated showers, and a risk of isolated thunderstorms. Winds may strengthen to 5-6 Beaufort during storms.

According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility will generally be good but could reduce to moderate or poor in showers. The sea surface temperature is currently 26°C, and no warnings have been issued.

For the west coast, the morning winds will shift from northeast to southeast at 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually changing to southeast to southwest. The sea is expected to be slight. In the afternoon, winds will be southwest to west at 3 to 4 Beaufort, occasionally reaching 4, with the sea remaining slight. By night, winds will turn southwest to northwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort, later reaching 4, with the sea becoming slight to moderate.

On the south coast, morning winds will be southwest to northwest at 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to south to southwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with sea conditions smooth to slight. In the afternoon, winds will increase to south to southwest at 4 to 5 Beaufort, occasionally reaching 5, and the sea will be slight. At night, winds will be southwest to west at 3 to 4 Beaufort, sometimes reaching 4, with conditions ranging from smooth to slight, occasionally slight.

For the east coast, morning winds will start as southwest to northwest at 3 Beaufort, later becoming southwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with the sea slight to moderate. In the afternoon, winds will shift to south to southwest at 4 Beaufort, gradually reaching 5 locally, with the sea conditions smooth to slight, becoming locally slight.
