Accra:The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has announced its latest forecast for the sea areas surrounding Cyprus. The current atmospheric pressure is recorded at 1010 hPa, with a weak low-pressure system affecting the region. The weather is expected to be mainly fine, although there may be periods of increased cloud cover with isolated showers likely, particularly in the western, northern, and eastern areas from tonight. Dust may also be suspended in the atmosphere at times.

According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility across the region is generally good, and sea surface temperatures are at 26°C. No weather warnings have been issued.

Forecast details for the west coast indicate that in the afternoon, winds will be from the south to southwest at force 3 to 4 with a slight sea state. At night, winds will shift to north to northeast at force 3, and offshore, northwest at force 3 to 4, with conditions being smooth to slight. By morning, northwest winds at force 3 will increase to force 3 to 4, maintaining a smooth to slight sea state.

For the south coast, the afternoon will see southwest winds at force 3 to 4 with a slight sea state. Overnight, northwest winds at force 3 will create smooth to slight conditions, continuing into the morning when winds will shift from northwest to northeast, gradually changing to southeast to southwest.

The east coast will experience south to southwest winds at force 3 in the afternoon, with smooth to slight sea conditions. At night, winds will be west to northwest at force 3, maintaining smooth to slight conditions, and by morning, winds will shift from northwest to northeast, gradually transitioning to east to southeast at force 3 to 4.

The north coast will have southeast to southwest winds at force 3 in the afternoon, with smooth to slight seas, continuing through the night. By morning, winds will change to west to northwest at force 3, maintaining a smooth to slight sea state.
