Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that weak low pressure is currently affecting the region. The atmospheric conditions are expected to remain mainly fine, although there will be an increase in cloud coverage over the southern and southwestern coastal areas during the afternoon.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1014 hPa. Despite the weak low pressure, visibility is expected to remain good throughout the forecast period. The sea surface temperature stands at 22°C, indicating mild sea conditions for the region.
The forecast covers the period from 1200 on June 3, 2025, until 1200 on June 4, 2025. Residents and visitors in the affected coastal areas should anticipate the possibility of increased cloudiness, particularly in the afternoon hours.
