Weak Low Pressure System Affects Cyprus Sea Area

Cyprus: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that a weak low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. The forecast is valid for the period from midday on June 15, 2026, until midday on June 16, 2026.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1012 hectopascals. The weather conditions are expected to include periods of low cloud cover, with a risk of local mist developing overnight and at dawn. Visibility in the area is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor levels in misty conditions.

The sea surface temperature in the area is reported to be 24°C. The forecast does not include any warnings, indicating that no severe weather conditions are expected during the specified period.
