Weak Low Pressure Brings Isolated Showers to Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that weak low pressure is currently affecting the region. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts isolated showers with a low risk of an isolated thunderstorm, particularly over the western and northern parts of the area during the morning.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1017 hectopascals. While visibility is generally good, it is expected to moderate in areas experiencing showers. The sea surface temperature remains steady at 23°C. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this period, suggesting that the conditions, although slightly unstable, are not expected to be severe.
