Baghdad:The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, effective from 0600 on November 2, 2026, until 0600 on November 3, 2026. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of issue was recorded at 1017 hPa, with weak low pressure affecting the area leading to partly cloudy weather conditions. Visibility is expected to remain good throughout the forecast period, and the sea surface temperature is at 25°C. No warnings have been issued.

The forecast details the wind and sea conditions for different coastal areas of Cyprus. On the west coast, winds will vary from northeast to southeast in the morning, shifting to southeast to south in the afternoon and finally to northeast to east at night, maintaining a smooth to slight sea state. The south coast will experience northeast to east winds in the morning, changing to northeast to southeast in the afternoon, and northwest to northeast at night, with similar sea conditions. The east coast will see a shift from north to northeast winds in the morning to northeast to east in the afternoon, and northwest to northeast at night, with offshore winds reaching up to northeast 4 Beaufort. The north coast winds will transition from northeast to southeast in the morning to northwest to northeast in the afternoon, and southeast to south at night, with offshore conditions reaching east 3 to 4 Beaufort, maintaining a smooth to slight sea state throughout.
