Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating the presence of seasonal low pressure combined with a warm air mass affecting the region. While the weather is expected to remain mainly fine, residents and visitors may experience locally increased low cloud along with mist and/or fog patches during the overnight and early morning hours.
According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility in the affected areas will generally be good, but it may reduce to moderate or poor levels in mist and become very poor in fog. The sea surface temperature is recorded at a warm 25°C, providing ideal conditions for marine activities, although caution is advised in areas with reduced visibility.
Despite these conditions, there are no warnings in effect for the region, suggesting that the weather will not pose any significant threats. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 999 hPa, consistent with typical seasonal patterns.
The meteorological department advises those traveling or engaging in outdoor activities during the early morning or overnight to stay informed about visibility conditions to ensure safety.
