Warm Air Mass Brings Mist and Fog to Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: A warm air mass is currently influencing the sea area around Cyprus.

According to Cyprus News Agency, The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has forecasted fine weather with some localized low cloud cover for the period from noon on June 12 until noon on June 13, 2025.

Despite the generally fine conditions, there will be local mist and fog patches expected during the night and early morning, which will affect visibility. Visibility is expected to be good, although it may become moderate to poor in mist and very poor in fog. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1008 hPa, with sea surface temperatures at 23°C.

The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, and winds will be measured using the Beaufort scale. Currently, there are no warnings issued for the sea area of Cyprus.
