Nicosia: The Department of Nursing at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is set to host a groundbreaking conference titled 'Virtual Learning, Shaping the Future of Paediatric Nursing Education.' Scheduled for 23 September 2026 at CYENS in Nicosia, the event will be conducted in English and feature expert speakers from Cyprus, Finland, Estonia, and Belgium. These experts will discuss the latest advancements and practices in virtual learning for paediatric nursing education.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the conference will focus on the transformative potential of Virtual Reality (VR) in paediatric nursing education. Attendees will engage in presentations and an interactive workshop aimed at showcasing how VR applications can create realistic and safe learning environments. This technology is crucial for developing clinical skills, enhancing critical thinking, and building confidence among paediatric nursing students.

The VR applications to be demonstrated are products of the VLPN project and the Erasmus+ project Extended Reality Learning Framework for Pediatric Nursing Students (PeDXR). These initiatives aim to integrate contemporary learning technologies into paediatric nursing education effectively.

Participation in the conference is free, with attendees receiving 5.25 CE credits accredited by PASYNM. Due to limited availability, registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and early registration is encouraged.
