Unstable Air Mass Temporarily Affects Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, detailing conditions expected from noon on June 16, 2025, until noon on June 17, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the report highlights that an unstable air mass is temporarily affecting the region. While the weather is expected to be mainly fine, there is a possibility of locally increased low cloud tonight and during the morning, which may lead to a risk of local mist.

The forecast specifies that visibility will be generally good, but may reduce to moderate or poor levels in areas affected by mist. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the issue was recorded at 1007 hPa (hectopascal), and the sea surface temperature is currently 23°C. No warnings have been issued for the period.
