UNICollaboration Conference 2026 to Focus on Virtual Exchange Innovation and Inclusion

Limassol: UNICollaboration, in partnership with the Language Centre of the Cyprus University of Technology, has announced the International Research Conference on ‘Virtual Exchange in a Changing World: Innovation and Inclusion,’ scheduled for 4-5 June 2026 at the Cyprus University of Technology.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the conference will explore the transformative potential of digital connectivity and collaborative learning in response to global challenges and technological advancements. Virtual Exchange (VE) is emphasized as a significant practice for fostering intercultural dialogue, international collaboration, and equitable educational access. The conference will cover various themes such as innovative VE project designs, intercultural competence development, curriculum integration, and assessment of learning outcomes.

The event will also delve into institutional strategies for scaling VE initiatives, equity and inclusion in VE, the role of VE in advancing internationalization at home, and successful VE partnerships. Keynote speakers include Anthony J. Liddicoat from the University of Warwick and Laia Canals from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Abstract submissions are due by 15 November 2025, with more details available on the conference website.
