Nicosia: The Department of Antiquities announced the repatriation of two Cypriot antiquities from the United States of America. As stated, in November 2025, the two antiquities were delivered to the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Washington DC. According to Cyprus News Agency, the items consist of a Juglet and a Jug of Bichrome III ware, dating back to the Cypro-Geometric III period (900-750 BC). The Department of Antiquities expressed gratitude to Brunk Auctions and Nadeau’s Auction Gallery Inc. for their voluntary return of the antiquities.
