Nicosia: The turnover value index of services and transport recorded an increase in the first quarter of 2026, compared to the same period last year.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Statistical Service of Cyprus reported that the Turnover Value Index during the first quarter of 2026 recorded increases in several sectors. Specifically, the accommodation and food service activities sector saw a rise of 3.9%. Transport and storage activities followed closely with an increase of 3.5%. The professional, scientific, and technical activities sector experienced a 3.0% growth, while real estate activities went up by 2.8%.
Additionally, the administrative and support service activities sector recorded a 0.8% increase, and information and communication activities saw a marginal rise of 0.2% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2025.
