ISTANBUL: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, opened Tuesday at 11,185.98 points, marking an increase of 0.12% or 13.23 points from the previous close. On Monday, the BIST 100 index rose by 0.15% to a record closing level of 11,172.75 points, with a daily transaction volume of 111 billion liras ($3.36 billion). As of 10:20 a.m. (0720GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 32.9480. The EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.8920, while the GBP/TRY rate was 42.5725.
